Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Recipem8, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to use Recipem8.

Membership & payments

Paid memberships are billed via Stripe (web) or Apple In-App Purchase (iOS).
Yearly membership renews automatically each year until cancelled. Manage or cancel renewals through your Stripe receipt or, on iOS, in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Lifetime membership is a one-time purchase for access to current and future features for as long as the service operates.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies.

Your content

Recipes, notes and photos you add remain yours. By uploading, you grant Recipem8 the limited licence needed to store and display that content back to you within the app. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to anything you upload, and you must not upload unlawful or infringing material.

Our content

The base recipe collection and the app itself are the property of Recipem8 and its owner. You are welcome to cook the recipes for any purpose, including professionally in a commercial kitchen or food business - that is exactly what Recipem8 is built for. What you may not do is copy, scrape, resell, republish, share your account, or otherwise redistribute the recipe collection itself, in whole or in part.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to breach security, access other users' data, disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.

AI features

AI Chef provides suggestions for convenience and may be inaccurate. Always use your own judgement, especially regarding allergies, food safety and dietary needs.

Availability & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, Recipem8 is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
